Outreach Coordinator | The Genius Workshop
Rasul is a Malaysian national who has lived in various cities in China since 2005 – Beijing, Dalian, and Shanghai. He believes in the power of play and game thinking to unlock the potential for human creativity and form good habits. Besides being the Outreach Coordinator for The Genius Workshop – a training center that uses LEGO to help kids aged 3 to 14 grasp physics concepts, build robotics, understand programming logic, and design their own games, he is also a Certified Facilitator for the LEGO Serious Play methodology. He also consults for companies interested in using gamification to tap into human motivation to promote their products and services – most recently to help with the growth of the booming fitness industry in Shanghai. In his spare time, he likes to expand his generalist overview of the world by reading books on the intersection between psychology and new technology and regularly sharing their key takeaways on social media.
